EMA Training launches new digital-driven apprenticeship courses

EMA Training has launched two new digital driven apprenticeship programmes. These include a Network Engineer Level 4 apprenticeship and a Marketing Executive Level 4 course which will take place in the company’s state-of-the-art digital HUB in the heart of Derby city centre.

Accelerate your career with a Network Engineer Level 4 course

The Network Engineer Level 4 apprenticeship course follows the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) curriculum and is designed to upskill individuals who currently work in an IT role.

Learners will undertake multiple industry-recognised certifications throughout the 24-month course which will include the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Administrator, and the AXELOS ITIL® 4 Foundation certification for IT Service Management.

Learners will receive expert-led training by digital learning and development trainer and industry expert, Admire Bandambira, who has over 20 years’ experience as an information technology practitioner.

Admire will deliver training using a blend of face-to-face and online learning whilst scheduling practical hands-on sessions for learners to experience route course analysis for IT issues and problems remediations, routing and switching configurations, networking design and troubleshooting, network security, and network configurations automation.

Admire said: “The Network Engineer Level 4 course is a fantastic progression route for individuals with relevant industry experience looking to upskill themselves and progress their career. Learners will get the opportunity to design and troubleshoot networks using both simulation software and hands-on, practical labs using Cisco Equipment.”

Upskill yourself with a Marketing Executive Level 4 Apprenticeship

The Marketing Executive Level 4 course offers advanced learning for individuals who have at least one years’ experience in a marketing role.

Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), learners will study a range of concepts and theories including market research, products and channels, marketing strategy, and commercial awareness. Upon completion of the course, learners will be eligible to register as an affiliate member of the CIM to enhance their credibility as a marketer and further demonstrate their commitment to upskilling themselves.

The Marketing Executive Level 4 course will be delivered by EMA’s marketing trainer and expert, Louisa Hampson, who brings with her a plethora of industry experience having worked for Thorntons and Motorpoint.

Louisa said: “This course is vocational, with a healthy mix of knowledge and project workshops that allow our students to really grasp the content but also become competent enough to demonstrate their newfound knowledge in their roles.

“I wish a course like this had been available when I was looking at career options! It will fill a huge skills gap for employers looking to upskill their workforce and is, in my opinion, the obvious pathway for anyone wanting to work and learn vital marketing skills at a more senior level”.

The first cohorts of the new level 4 apprenticeship programmes will start their training at EMA Training’s digital HUB at the beginning of June.

Applications from candidates who wish to pursue a career in IT or marketing and can demonstrate relevant experience will be considered by the recruitment team.

Employers looking to recruit an apprentice can get help from the government to pay for apprenticeship training. Employers may also be exempt from paying National Insurance contributions for staff under the age of 25.
