Level 2

Understanding the Business and Its Environment

Introduces learners to the organisation’s structure, purpose, and sector landscape. Covers roles and responsibilities, internal/external stakeholders, and the wider context such as compliance, regulation, and corporate responsibility. Emphasis is placed on workplace policies, ethics, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

Focuses on professional communication methods, both written and verbal, including formal correspondence, responding to requests, and using appropriate etiquette. Learners also explore managing relationships, sourcing and sharing information, and maintaining confidentiality in communication.

IT and Digital Tools for Administration

Covers the use of core software (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and cloud platforms to complete admin tasks. Teaches how to store, retrieve, and share data securely, handle information following GDPR and organisational policies, and use digital tools for collaboration.

Task Management and Scheduling

Develops learners’ ability to plan and prioritise work using time management tools. Includes calendar management, booking systems, task scheduling, and working within agreed deadlines. This module supports organisational efficiency and administrative support delivery.
