You’ll learn how to support organisational leaders in crafting strategy, evaluating and managing risks, valuing organisations, and securing the financial resources needed to bring strategies to life. The E3 Strategic Management module gives students the knowledge and skills to support organisational strategy and sustainable business success. It covers the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategy, including the analysis of internal and external environments, strategic options, and competitive positioning. Students explore the role of leadership, governance, and risk management in achieving strategic objectives, as well as the impact of organisational culture and stakeholder expectations.
By the end of the module, students will be able to integrate strategic thinking with professional judgement, providing actionable insights and recommendations to guide long-term organisational growth and performance.

The F3 Financial Strategy module equips students with the knowledge and skills to support strategic financial decision-making within organisations. It covers long-term financial planning, investment appraisal, corporate financing, and dividend policy, alongside the evaluation of risk and the use of financial instruments to optimise value. The module emphasises strategic analysis, enabling students to assess an organisation’s financial position, consider alternative financial strategies, and make informed recommendations.
By the end of the module, students will be able to integrate technical financial knowledge with professional judgement to develop, evaluate, and implement financial strategies that support sustainable organisational growth and stakeholder value.

The P3 Risk Management module develops the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and manage risks within complex organisational contexts. It covers strategic, operational, financial, and project-related risks, alongside the frameworks, techniques, and controls used to mitigate them. Students explore the relationship between risk management, corporate governance, and organisational strategy, applying analytical and professional judgement to evaluate risk exposure and develop effective responses.
By the end of the module, students will be able to integrate risk management into decision-making processes, supporting sustainable business performance and enhancing stakeholder confidence through proactive and informed risk-based strategies.

The Strategic Level Case Study assesses students’ ability to apply their knowledge and skills from the E3, F3, and P3 modules in realistic, complex business scenarios. It requires candidates to analyse strategic, financial, and risk-related challenges, make informed decisions, and provide practical recommendations. The assessment also tests professional skills, including communication, problem-solving, ethical judgement, and strategic thinking.
By completing the case study, students demonstrate their ability to integrate technical knowledge with analytical and professional capabilities to address high-level organisational issues, supporting effective decision-making, strategic leadership, and sustainable business performance.
