It’s safe to say that IT Support companies and IT departments have had their work cut out as of late. Businesses have become increasingly reliant on their IT infrastructure, connectivity and collaborative technologies such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
The necessity for many people to work from home has required organisations to source laptops by the boatload, all of which need to be re-imaged with the necessary software and systems for them to enable effective home working. This requires manpower.
Based on Ednaston Park near Ashbourne, Bondholder, Wytech Ltd have experienced just this, and at the beginning of the year partnered with fellow Bondholder, EMA Training, to recruit and train an IT Support Apprentice.
Cara started an apprenticeship with Wytech at the beginning of February, turning a passion for technology into a career and whilst Cara would have expected an interesting and challenging role, nobody could have anticipated what was to come in the subsequent months!
