Senior Appointments at EMA Training Limited

EMA Training are delighted to announce the joint appointment of James Stafford as Chief Operating Officer and Matt Edwards as Sales Director to support the CEO, Tracey Mosley to grow this local ambitious company.

Both will be well known in the East Midlands training community and with a large number of local businesses, providing high-quality candidates for Apprenticeship roles.

EMA has a long established track record for high-quality Accountancy and Finance Training including Apprenticeships and has identified further opportunities to expand into the IT and Payroll Training and Apprenticeship Market.

James and Matt will play a leading role, working with local employers to support the growth of the business during 2020 and beyond.

James Stafford commented “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the team at EMA Training. With our core focus on high-quality, high-impact training, Tracey and I are confident that we can achieve our shared vision of becoming the apprenticeship provider of choice in the East Midlands for professional services apprenticeships. Looking on to 2020, we look forward to working with outstanding local employers to offer the best apprenticeship opportunities in the sector, helping to retain top young talent within the region.”

Matt Edwards added ‘’I am truly elated to be joining EMA Training and embarking on this new challenge. With the changes to the apprenticeship system soon to be rolled out, our core focus will be to ensure learners and employers have a positive experience working with ourselves, as we deliver high-impact training across the board. I could not be more thrilled than to be a part of a fantastic team.’’

Tracey Mosley commented “ We have recently made two transformational appointments for EMA and  I welcome both James and Matt to the business. From January 2020, SMEs will be able to select their apprenticeship training from all main provider organisations and institutions that remain listed in the register of apprenticeship training providers (RoATP). We needed to strength the leadership team to engage with local businesses with their apprenticeship recruitment needs. I am delighted James and Matt have joined the business to support us with this”.

Richard Gerver added “As Chair of the EMA Board I am thrilled that we have been able to secure, in James and Matt, two of the most experienced and talented professionals in the training sector. It reinforces our commitment to excellence and to the widening of opportunity for our learners. It underlines our status as a key provider in developing an outstanding and highly skilled workforce, supporting businesses meet the challenges they face now and tomorrow”.
